You can just play random people on AIB while I'm sure it does help you ENHANCE (learn to fucking spell), your GAME it doesn't really do anymore than just playing random fuckers on ladders, Free play and tournies. I will show you my ladder page, I only play Peach on Wifi and a ladder full of Snakes and MKs like you and beat them enough to get on to the top 400. If you are 367th place you're higher than me I place 425th I believe, but I play anyone whether it be zero score or not so my score gets fucked because I'm not careful with it, if I was I would probably be a bit higher, regardless...I would like a link to your AIB ladder page.

I place 428th, which is really gewd if you consider that I'm top 5 in Peaches on that ladder actually. Many people on AIB actually recognize me as one of the best if not the best Peach on that's still active and doesn't camp or spam. I don't need to plain and simple. I have never lost a single Peach ditto since a year ago. Even against ADHD who's first currently on the ladder and seconds Peach I beat him every single Peach ditto.



Err are you fucking retarded or something? Obviously if someone is playing MK and whorenading in Red lag like you did with me it's gonna be MUCH more annoying for someone with a lower tier character which have no moves to match priority to that and can't OBVIOUSLY punish MK on Wifi.

Hitting on button works with certain characters if done right, but that's not even what I'm talking about I have played tons of people like this.

Snakes: Tilt Spam, Nad Spam, Dash Cancel Spam, Camp along with some grab game and a few C4s.

DDDs: Waddle Dee spam, Grab Spam, B-Air Spam, U-Smash/F-Smash charging and hope the person falls in it while it lags like crazy.

MKs: Whorenado spam, Up-B to Glair spam, D-Smash Spam, with aerials of course because doing aerials with this guy is ridiculous.

Falcos: Double Laser Camp/Spam, Side B Spam, and grab game with the ocassional charging of the U-Smash and F-Smash and hope they get lucky in lag to finish it.

These are the most annoying spams in the world IMHO, and the cheapest on Wifi...sad fact is too that this is around 50% of the people I play on Wifi. The other 35% spam other characters or camp other characters...or both. I rarely play people who don't actually spam/camp in this game. It's not that it's their fault, this game is simply made to be played this way TBH. And I do understand this myself, my brother who plays ROB used to play very aggressively but later told me that it's much better to just camp and spam sometimes when you need to gain back momentum or even out at least. I understand this but I refuse to contribute to these menacing techniques that honestly do nothing but annoy the other players and make matches NOT FUN.

I play Peach on Wifi because I want to have fun, simply put...I don't care about winning as much as I just want to do ridiculous shit all the time like crazy chains and combos which make people go WTF? Which I do....except when it lags too much.

Smashboard tells you to spam because yeah you will win. But you can win a match by planking as well in this game.

If I'm Marth and you're a character like Ganondorf, I can hit you with one F-Air than plank the entire match, (this is where you camp the edge, let go with a release of a F-Air than Up-B again and regain invincibility again a character like Marth that does this against a Ganon will ensure the victory for himself because the Ganon has no approaches that can out prioritize the Marth at this position as long as the Marth reacts properly he cannot be beaten in this position), you can plank the entire match with this technique after hitting the Ganon with one F-Air to give yourself the lead and win the match.

Is this skill? No. And if the Ganon DOES break your planking, is it skill? YES, because the chances of him breaking this planking technique against a Marth are 95 : 5 against even a decent Marth, not even a gewd one. If it's a gewd one, forget about it, there's no way they can break it.

Yes I agree that anyone that takes Wifi seriously is an idiot, if not Brawl completely. But damn...that makes me the biggest idiot ever.

Wifi matches aren't the real thing this is why people can spam and win even if it's a simple technique. Offline it's much harder to spam cuz it's much easier to punish it.

Chaingrabbing is pretty noobish in Brawl it's the easiest shit ever to do, chaingrabbing used to take some skill in Melee but even than it was looked down upon cuz it just takes repetitive memorized motor skills not actual skill.

Chaingrabbing in Brawl is a complete joke, and if someone does it I don't really disrespect them but I don't really respect them for it either. It's not a big deal.

A few things you need to take into consideration is that there aren't that many characters that can chaingrab. Doing it online is pretty damn hard.

Although I have to admit, the Pikachu>Falco 20-100 Buffer Chaingrab is rediculous. Even so, I never hesitate doing it. The only time I won't do it is in friendlies.

DDD, Wario, Marth, Pika, Wolf, Snake, Falco, Peach...eh?

Oh I forgot to mention ICs...and yeah it's a weird game, it's like certain characters will be able to combo others, usually it's the fast fallers though which includes the Spacies, as well as Falcon and Sheik.


As for the entire thing being spam or w/e, on Wifi there are no pros, even actual pros on Wifi like ADHD who's second and who I used to friendly all the time says that Wifi is ass for actually playing this game competitively.

If you don't play offline tourneys or competitively you wouldn't understand the difference between Wifi play and offline play. Wifi includes more spam because it's more efficient and effective on Wifi, that's not skill and it's an annoying tactic that just shows you want to win and not just have fun. Pretty much.

And that concludes this useless debate.

Chain grabbing is just doing a grab than it's either throw and follow it up to another grab such as DDD's chain throw, he D-throws than runs forward and grabs again and continues.

Or Peach's D-Throw chaingrab she D-Throws than turns around and grabs again and D-throws and continues.

There are other chain grabs in Melee, called release chain grabs, this works like Marth's release chain grab, where he grabs a Ness and continues to hit A real fast, the Ness will break out but will stay in Marth's grab range if the player doesn't correctly Smash DI out of the chain grab, the Marth can than grab the Ness again and continue to pummel him.

Also the Ice Climbers have very sophisticated chain grabs which they pair with each other and throw the character to each other.
